Linda K. Werbelow

Linda K. Werbelow, 78, of Beaver Dam went to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Linda was born on October 11, 1947 the daughter of William and Bernice (Workman) Homan.  She was a 1966 graduate of Waupun High School and later received her Nurses Degree. On April 20, 1968, she was married to Ralph E. Werbelow at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

Linda was a faithful member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam and a woman of deep kindness. She was known for her generous heart and unwavering support of others.  She loved her family and friends and was always there when someone needed help.  Linda gave generously to charities and treasured time spent babysitting family, especially her great niece Emma, her soulmate.  She also enjoyed watching her favorite television shows.

Linda will be deeply missed by her daughter Stephanie Werbelow of Beaver Dam; nieces: Bonnie Barnett, Annette Homan and Cindy Bailey; nephew William Homan; great nieces: Emma Barnett, Madeline Barnett, Christine Winning and Carrie Homan; great nephew Jackson Barnett.  She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph 2018, son Matthew in 2023, brothers: Ronald Homan in 2020 and Larry Homan in 2024.

A memorial gathering for Linda will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until Noon at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.  A memorial service will begin at Noon with Rev. Philip Heyer officiating.  Inurnment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton at a later date.
