Lois L. Marquart

Lois L. Marquart, 96 years, formerly of Ripon, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Christian Homestead in Waupun. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 21st at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville at 12:00 noon. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21st from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. Burial will be in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in the township of Lomira. Lois was born on October 14, 1919 to Edwin and Lily (Ott) Marquart in the township of Lomira. Lois enjoyed photography and she enjoyed helping people.Lois graduated from U.W. Oshkosh with a teaching degree. She was a deaconess and missionary for the Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Green Lake Baptist Church and also a former member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Lois is survived by her sister Eunice Frisbie of Beaver Dam, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Florence Metke, Ruth Panzer, Marie Georg, and Arlene Unferth, and her brother Rueben.
