Lois M. Brosky

Lois Marie Brosky (nee Cunningham) was born on March 16, 1930 in New Castle, PA, the 12^th child, 9^th daughter of Margaret E. Boyle and Thomas J. Cunningham.  She passed away in Beaver Dam, WI on 28 August 2022 at the grand age of 92.

Lois was joined in marriage to John Joseph Brosky Sr., of Grove City, PA on September 30, 1950 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Castle, PA., and enjoyed forty-one years of marriage.   John and Lois had six children: Cynthia A. Allen, of Beaver Dam, WI; John J. Brosky Jr., of Paris, France; Elizabeth L. Watson, of Portage, MI; Barbara J. Evans, of Geneva, IL; Peter J. Brosky,of Battle Creek, MI; and David A. Brosky, of Baton Rouge, LA.  Lois was the proud grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother to 7.

Lois enjoyed music, nature and was an accomplished gardener, enhancing every home she inhabited with bright, lovely gardens.   She was famous for her culinary delights, and will be especially remembered for her jambalaya recipe and sumptuous desserts.

There will not be any visitation, but a memorial service will be held at a later date.
