Lorraine L. Brandt, 86, of Columbus passed away on Thursday, March 06, 2014 at the Larson House in Columbus.

Lorraine was born the daughter of Reuben and Edna (Wesenberg) Christian on September 26, 1927 in Columbus. On May 17, 1958, she was married to Lloyd E. Brandt in Columbus. Lorraine was a graduate of Columbus High School. She was employed many years with the DOT in Madison. After her retirement, Lorraine was employed with the City of Columbus as a crossing guard. Lorraine was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus where she sang in the choir.

Lorraine is survived by survived by her son, Bruce (Cindy) Brandt of Columbus; her grandchildren: Ethan and Brittany Brandt; her sisters: Arlene (Wallace) Jurgerson, Karen (James) Dykstra and Diane (John) Potenberg; her brothers: Wallace (Marlene) Christian, Ken (Lola) Christian, Rueben (Delores) Christian, Dennis (Patricia) Christian, and James (Judy) Christian; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd, and her sisters: Jane, Doris, Glenda, Edna and Elaine.
