Louis Gilbert Klueger, 75 years old, of Mayville, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Matthew’s of Horicon.A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14th at 11:00 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville, with the Rev. Barry Hoerz officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 14th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery, Mayville.Louis was born on June 20, 1940 to Harvey and Lillian (Gilbertson) Klueger in Knowles, WI. He was a graduate of Mayville High School. He was united in marriage to Theresa D. Schmitt on January 31, 1970 at St. Killian Catholic Church in Hartford. Louis was employed by Mayville, Home Improvement, Town & Country of Mayville, and retired from Michel’s Corp of Brownsville.Louise was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. He was a U. S. veteran, serving in the army. Louis loved cooking & grilling, and was known for his BBQ Sauce. He enjoyed watching the Packer & Brewers.Louis is survived by: his wife Tess of Mayville; his children- Carrie (Sam) Thuerwachter of Fond du Lac, Sara (Barry) Behnke of Brownsville, and Jenny (Josh) Muche of Horicon; his brothers-in-law- Wally Schwichtenberg & Harvey Heup; his grandchildren- Mitch, Nate, Ian, Owen, Addy, Parker & Ashton; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.Louis is preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters- Eldred, Eloise, Muzzy, & Lynn, and his brother Harvey “Bobo”.Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Ev.
