Louis R. Weishoff

Louis R. Weishoff, 92, a lifelong resident of Columbus passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his home with his son by his side.Louis Ross was born the son of Henry G. and Pearl (Waples) Weishoff on August 16, 1924 in Rio, WI. He was married to Irene Marie Yuds in August of 1948 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus. Louis was employed as a gravel truck driver for many years and later was employed with Chisholm-Ryder Co. until his retirement. After retirement, he was employed with Wackenhut Security. Louis has a love of animals and especially loved his family. Louis is survived by his son, Steve of Columbus; his nephew, Lawrence (Susanne) Weishoff; his niece, Judy Weishoff; as well as other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Irene on March 13, 2004; his daughter, Linda; his siblings: David, Walter, Wallace, and Norma Shier; and his nephew, Leland Shier.At Louis’ request, no formal funeral services will be held and cremation is to occur.
