Lucille “Lucy” O'Dell

Lucille “Lucy” M. O’Dell, 80, of Beaver Dam passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Funeral Service for Lucille will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam with the Rev. Mark Wenzel officiating. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Horicon. Lucille Marlene was born on April 1, 1935 in the township of Hubbard. She was a graduate of Horicon High School. She was married to Milton G. Neitzel on June 16, 1956. She was later married to Edward E. O’Dell. Lucy was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She loved reading, drawing, cooking and cookbooks. She also enjoyed visiting family and friends. Lucy is survived by her children: Cynthia Neitzel of Beaver Dam, Pamela (John) Oechsner of Mayville, Linden (Lori) Neitzel of Neshkoro, Brian Neitzel of Virginia, Jeffrey Neitzel of Allenton; six step children: Edward O’Dell, Jr, Denise (Tom) Kletsch, Carol (JR) Brunner, Alan O’Dell, Doug (Luanne) O’Dell and Renee Steiner; three grandchildren: Mitchel Oechsner, Ruby Neitzel, Macallister Neitzel; six step grandchildren, 15 step great grandchildren; her sister Myrna Freshwaters of Oregon. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward, daughter Susan, brother Robert and sister Jean. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Beaver Dam and also to the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison for their wonderful care.
