Lucy Rose Greiner, age 100, of Theresa, WI passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa with the Rev. Fr. Tom Biersack presiding. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8 from 10:00 am -11:00 am at the church. Burial will take place at St. Theresa Memory Gardens in Theresa. Lucy was born the daughter of Conrad and Elizabeth (Miller) Holl on October 30, 1913 in St. Lawrence. On June 9, 1936 she was married to Howard Greiner in Slinger, WI. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa. With her husband Howard, the two farmed in Tn. Theresa and she also was a custodian at St. Theresa Catholic School. In her spare time Lucy enjoyed quilting, baking, cooking, and gardening. Most special to her was the time spent with her family.She is survived by her children- Dolores (Charles) Lohr of Mayville, Mary Jean (Louis) Antonioni of Mayville, and Edward (Beatrice) Greiner of Mayville. Her grandchildren- Debra (Chuck) Spann, Brian Lohr, Dennis (Nanette) Lohr, Louis Antonioni Jr., Mark Antonioni, Paul Antonioni, and Adam Greiner. Her 6 great grandchildren- Jessica, Kenneth, Renata, Grace, Desmond, and Larissa. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2004, her sister Rose (Kasimer) Karius, her brothers- Oscar (Bernida) Holl, Clarence Holl, Edgar Holl, Henry (Helen) Holl, Raymond (LaVerna) Holl, and Walter Holl.*Special thanks to Hope Health and Rehabilitation and Agnesian Hospice for all of their care and support.Memorials may be directed to St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa.
