MABEL WAS A FANTASTIC AUNT. SHE ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING FRESH FROM THE OVEN TO EAT WHEN LESTER, HENRY AND I CAME BACK FROM HUNTING PHEASANTS OR DUCKS OR SHOOTING BUFFALO CARP WITH A BOW. I''M SURE SHE WILL BE AT THE FIRST POLKA FEST THEY HAVE IN HEAVEN. NEXT TIME YOU SEE A BIG, WHITE, PUFFY CUMULUS CLOUD GOING BY, IT''S NO DOUBT CARRYING AUNT MABEL SO SHE CAN CHECK UP ON US. GOD BLESS A GREAT LADY!

Sorry to read of the passing of Mabel. Though I have not been in Wisconsin in many years I remember Mabel when she was at my grandparents, Henry & Ella Yauman''s home.
Hank & Ethel, Mom sent me the link about Gramma Mabel. Please accept my condolences. Mom told me to follow the link she provided, look at Gramma Mabel''s picture, and I would remember her laughter ... she was right! I loved going to visit her with Danny when we stayed with you on our way to Iowa ... of course, my memories of Gramma Mabel are all tied in with Danny''s newspaper route, the birds, circus peanuts from the candy drawer, and the pond in the yard. I have thought of her many times over the years, and I am very happy I was able to know her the little I did. Love to all your family, Tina & Ben, Kendra, Kera, & Katie Rose
