Mae Pearson, age 72, of Reeseville, died on Friday, May 26, 2006 at her home.
Visitation for Mae will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Reeseville with Rev. Daniel Torkelson and Rev. Donald Steinberg officiating. Burial will be at Reeseville Cemetery.
The former Mae Mildred Klentz was born on April 13, 1934 in the Town of Lowell, on the family farm, the daughter of Gerhardt and Ida (Bleifuss) Klentz. Mae was a 1952 graduate of Juneau High School. On September 27, 1958 she was united in marriage with Thomas Pearson at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Reeseville. Mae worked at the Reeseville Canning Factory and then Aunt Nellie”s in Clyman for over 25 years, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, cooking and her two dogs; “Maggie” and the late “Shorty”. She also enjoyed vacationing with her two daughters Kay and Peggy ,especially the trips to Turtle Lake and the boat rides down the Mississippi River. She also looked forward to her trips to the Amish Community and she looked forward to the county fair to play bingo.
Survivors included her four children, Roxie Pearson of Watertown, Peggy Pearson, Kay Pearson and Thomas (Sharon) Pearson, Jr. all of Reeseville; her dog “Maggie”, other relatives and friends.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas and her sister, Delores Klentz.
The Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville is serving the family.
