Margaret “Peggy” Mary Eilbes (née Rymaszewski) was born on July 7th, 1965. Peggy gained her angel wings and joined her loved ones in heaven on December 14th, 2025, leaving behind a world made brighter by her presence.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Fran Eilbes; her children Jonathan (special friend – Nicole Schloemer) Eilbes and Laura (Michael) Watkins; her grandchildren Bridgette Eilbes, Ryan Watkins, and Weston Eilbes; her sisters, Terri (Rex) Clark, Mary (John) Gitlewski, and Linda Veit; her in laws Jackie (Mark) Kahlhamer, Craig (Mary Beth) Eilbes and many devoted nieces and nephews, and dear friends who were blessed to know her.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dolores Rymaszewski; her sisters, Carol Falek and Ellen Rymaszewski; and her brother, William Rymaszewski, her in-laws Edward and Mary Ann Eilbes and brother-in-law Warren Eilbes.
Those who knew Peggy would tell you she was simply the kindest person you could ever meet—loving, caring, and wonderfully feisty. She had a spirit that drew people to her and a heart that made them stay.
For 35 years, Peggy dedicated herself to caring for others as a pharmacy technician at Children’s Wisconsin Hospital in Milwaukee. Her compassion extended beyond her career, and even now, her generous heart continues to give. As an organ donor, Peggy’s final gift will bring hope and healing to others in a beautiful reflection of the giving spirit she carried throughout her life.
Peggy found her greatest joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved heading up north to the cabin and going on many camping trips, which created a lifetime of cherished memories with family and friends. She enjoyed casting a line while fishing and gathering around the campfire. Peggy and Fran loved taking leisurely drives through the countryside, exploring new places and discovering new cities together. She never turned down a trip to the casino or a good card game, and her competitive streak made every hand memorable. Whether she was playing games with family or spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Peggy’s warmth and laughter filled the room.
Peggy had a special love for her lighted decorations, both inside and outside her home. She carefully set her glowing angels, Christmas trees, and twinkling displays on timers so she could watch them come alive each evening, a nightly ritual that brought her so much joy.
To know Peggy was to love her, and she was loved by so many.
Though she leaves behind an emptiness that words cannot describe, we find comfort knowing she is at peace. When we look up at the stars, we will see her shining down on us—a reminder that love never truly leaves.
We love you to the moon and back, Peggy. Until we meet again.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 7th, 2026, at the Meating Place at the Mayville Golf Course from 12-3pm.
