To Chad and Pat and family: Because of some unexpected health issues of my own, I was unable to attend any services for Marian. I want you to know that I have the greatest sympathy for you in your loss (and in the loss of your sister, Chad). I met Marian on my first day of work in Beaver Dam and we became immediate friends. Seeing her smiling helpful personality made working at the Junior High a wonderful experience. She was a true lady, and she will be missed. My sincere condolences.

Dear Burchardt Family - so sorry for your loss. My brief working with Marion as she trained me to replace her was so wonderful and filled with so many laughs. Her shoes were hard to fill but I know I'm a better person having known her over the many years. Rest in Peace Dear Lady . . . .

Love you Grandma. I will always remember up at the trailer, hunting with you and spending time with you and Grandpa when I came over to mow the neighbors lawn. Love Ed

RAY SCHROEDER left a message on January 12, 2015:

My memory of Grandma Marian is that every time I met her she was always smiling. Marian, you can be proud of the family you guided and watched over, a true Matriarch. Enjoy your reward
