Marie C. Keller, 83, of Stevens Point and formerly of Madison passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Harmony Commons Assisted Living in Stevens Point, WI.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus with Rev. Robert Wilke officiating. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, March 3rd from 12 p.m. (noon) until 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus.
Marie Catherine was born the daughter of James and Leona (Fick) Crary on May 4, 1927 in Madison, WI. She was a graduate of Madison East High School. Marie was married to Lawrence Klitzman on July 1946. Marie was later married to Orval Keller on October of 1988. She was employed with Wisconsin Porcelain of Sun Prairie until her retirement. Marie was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus, and she also attended services at Divine Word Lutheran Church in Plover, WI. Marie loved camping and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Marie is survived her son, Norman (Darlene) Klitzman of Plover; two step-children: Dale (Judy) Keller of Marshall and Darlene Keller of Madison; her brother, Al (Kari) Cole of Middleton; her grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband Lawrence, her husband, Orval, her son, Jeffrey in 1973 and her brother, Robert.
