Marilyn L. Waas

Marilyn L. Waas, 74 years old, of Lomira, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017, at Hope Health & Rehabilitation in Lomira.A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville, with the Rev. Allen Kramp officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 10th from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the church. Entombment will take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac, WI.Marilyn was born on June 17, 1942 to Harold and Amelda (Pribnow) Zahn in the township of Theresa. She was a 1960 graduate of Mayville High School. Marilyn was united in marriage to David H. Waas on January 13, 1962 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy. She was employed at Lomira Auto as a bookkeeper.Marilyn was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. She was a member of St. John’s Choir. Marilyn touched many lives as a talented seamstress. She enjoyed going to polka dances. Most important to Marilyn were her grandchildren.Marilyn is survived by: her husband David of Lomira; her daughter Brenda (Dan) Michels of Lomira; her son Dale (Michelle) Waas of Greenfield; her brother Glenn (Elinor) Zahn of Mayville; her grandchildren Rebecca (Chad) Alf, Katie (Brian) Stoffel, Kelly (Marshall) Feucht, Tyler Michels, Molly Michels, Colin Waas, Kyle Waas and Mason Waas; her great grandchildren Eloise, Addison, Aiden, and Harper Marilyn; other relatives and friends.Marilyn is preceded in death by: her parents and her nephew Dean Zahn.Memorials may be directed to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville.The family would like to give a special thanks to St. Agnes Hospice and Hope Health & Rehab for their wonderful care.
