Mark T. Hensler, age 62, died Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Beaver Dam.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Raczynski. Inurnment will take place at St. Columba Cemetery in Lake Five, WI at a later date.
Mark was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend—known for his dry wit, sharp one-liners, and his unwavering loyalty to the people he cared about. You always knew where you stood with Mark, and if you were lucky enough to be one of his own, he had your back without hesitation.
A lifelong Wisconsinite, Mark had a deep love for working on cars- both in a garage and on the track with his brother. He was at home in the garage- both while working on cars and sharing drinks with family and friends.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his quick, dry humor, and his fierce loyalty. He didn’t ask for attention, but he made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Mark will be missed by his four siblings, Debbie Hensler of CA, John Hensler of Beaver Dam, Denise Hensler of MI and Diane (Jeff) LaVine of SD; nieces and nephews, Daniel Hensler, Nicole Hensler (George Linke), Jared LaVine, Heather (Jimmy) Murphy, and Tanner B. Harper, great nieces and nephews, Michaela Hensler, Joel Linke, Jameson Linke, and Isaac Murphy; other relatives and friends
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur “Huntz” and Patti Hensler; two brothers, Mike and Eddie and four additional siblings in infancy.
