Mary Jean Wallinger

September 15, 1931 - April 20, 2007

Mary Jean Wallinger, age 75, of Beaver Dam, died on Friday, April 20, 2007 at her home.
Friends and family may call on Monday, April 23, 2007, at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday at the Church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at 11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam with Rev. Mark Molldrem officiating. Private burial will be in LaBelle Cemetery in Oconomowoc.
The former Mary Jean Schiller was born on September 15, 1931, in Hillsboro, to the late Joseph and Frances (Jezek) Schiller. Mary Jean was a 1949 graduate of the Hillsboro High School. After high school she moved to Milwaukee and received her degree from the Business Institute in Milwaukee. She was a stenographer in Milwaukee for several years. On June 13, 1953, she was united in marriage to George Wallinger in Wauwatosa. In 1957 she moved to Beaver Dam with her husband George and raised their family. Mary Jean was a member of First Lutheran Church of Beaver Dam and Calvary Lutheran Church of Minocqua. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, the Daughters of the Nile and Badger Shrine Club Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, George Wallinger of Beaver Dam; her three sons, Kurt (Helen) Wallinger of Green Bay, Wade (Ruby) Wallinger of Kingwood, TX. and Todd (Tammy) Wallinger of Colorado Springs, CO; her six grandchildren, her two step grandchildren, her four step great grandchildren; her brother, Rudy (Gertie) Schiller of Las Vegas, NV; and her step-brother, Joseph (Lou) Bruha of Hillsboro, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mary Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her three half-brothers and her two half-sisters.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Mary Jean”s name to First Lutheran Church of Beaver Dam, Calvary Lutheran Church of Minocqua, Masonic 32nd Degree Learning Center of Madison or the charity of one”s choice.
The Murray Funeral Home of Beaver Dam is serving the family.
