Mary Lou Zangl, age 86, of Lomira, WI, formerly of Mayville, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Hope Senior Living in Lomira. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 25th at 5 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville, with the Rev. Fr. Charles Wester presiding. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th from 3:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Mayville, WI the following day. A luncheon will follow the Mass on Tuesday evening.Mary Lou was born the daughter of Richard & Lillian (Weninger) Ruecker on September 4, 1928. She was a 1946 graduate of Mayville High School. She was united in marriage to Gene Zangl on February 1, 1949 in Theresa at St. Theresa Catholic Church. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church. In her spare time Mary Lou enjoyed playing cards, reading, crossword puzzles, and board games. Most important was the time she spent with her family and friends.She is survived by: her children- Debby (Andy Bean) Zangl of Waukesha, Vicki (Edd) DeDolph of Waukesha, Todd (Lois) Zangl of Waukesha, Laurie (Steve) Straub of West Bend, Rebecca (Carl) Miller of Palm Beach Gardens, FL., and Catherine (Brian Erdmann) Caspary of Lomira. Her grandchildren- Christopher (Stephanie) Rasmussen, Corey (Angela) DeDolph, Tony DeDolph, Brian Zangl, Scott (Mary) Straub, Joshua Straub, Matthew Straub, Stephanie Miller, Jeffrey (Fiancée Elisabeth) Miller, Zach (Ashley) Caspary, Nathan (Lauren) Caspary, and Nicole Caspary. Her great grandchildren- Ian and Parker Rasmussen, Eleanor and Ethan DeDolph, and Haleigh, Mason, and Marley Caspary. Her sister- Pearl Dejanovich. Her brother- Jim Ruecker. Her sisters in law- LaVerne Hinkes and Carol (Pat) Zimmer.
