Mary T. Nerswick, 77, of Beaver Dam passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mary Therese was born on June 6, 1947 the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Hockman) Noonan in Detroit, Michigan.
In July of 1977, Mary was married to David A. Nerswick at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Detroit Mercy Nursing College. Mary proudly worked as a Registered Nurse for over 41 years in many different specialties; compassionately caring for many people of all ages throughout her career. Mary was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam. She enjoyed singing folk music. Mary and David enjoyed traveling together throughout the United Sates. Secretly, Mary was an avid and passionate Michigan sports fan. Above all, Mary deeply loved her family and her faithful companion Mikey.
Mary is survived by her husband of 47 years David, her sons: David (Sadie) Nerswick and Daniel Nerswick and Katie Nerswick; grandchildren: Aubrey and Robert Nerswick all of Beaver Dam; and her brother Anthony Noonan of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Eileen Noonan.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 511 S. Spring Street, Beaver Dam.

I am sorry to learn of my cousin Mary's passing. We share a lot of childhood memories of visits at our grandparents in Jackson and her family home in Detroit. Mary was very dedicated to her career and family. i will remember her laughter and kindness.
