Marylin L. Nonn, age 57, died on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at St. Mary”s Hospital in Madison
She was born on August 15, 1949 at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas to Mary Lee Johnson McDonald. Marylin received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Bishop Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska in 1993. She has worked in the medical field for 31 years. She has most recently worked at the William S. Middleton VA Medical Center in Madison in the cardiac intermediate critical care unit with heart and lung transplant patients.
Marylin is survived by her two daughters; Madelyn Alford, Madelyn”s six children, Ashton, Ashley, Megan, Brianna, Brittany and Marcus and Madelyn”s granddaughter, Aaiyanna, Meschelle (Renauld) Baker, Meschelle”s two children, Mechaela and Jasmyne, her step daughter, Candice Marie Smith, her son, Michael Nicholas, Jr., her sisters, Sabrina McDonald and Ruhiyyih (Harley) Dehart, her long-time friend and cat, Boston Napoleon Nonn. Marylin was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lee Johnson McDonald, her daughter, Stephanie Staller, and her brother, Steve McDonald.
Marylin has had the privilege and honor of being a dedicated and baptized witness of Jehovah. She considered her day of baptism, July 17, 1981, as the turning point in her life and continued to serve Jehovah faithfully until her death. Marylin was a principled woman of strong convictions and high character. She loved music and nature. She was devoted to Jehovah and her family as well as her many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Rio on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Friends and family may visit at the Kingdom Hall from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. There will be light refreshments served following the service.
