Melvin J. Wright, 89, of Theresa, WI, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022, at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee.
Funeral services for Melvin will take place at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville on Friday, August 19 at 4 P.M. with the Father Tom Biersack presiding. Theresa American Legion Post #270 will conduct military honors following the service. Visitation will be at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville on August 19 from 2-4 P.M. Family entombment will take place at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.
Melvin was born the son of Lillian Turowski on January 29, 1933, in Milwaukee, WI. He attended Milwaukee Boys Tech. Melvin was united in marriage to Susan Mayer on February 4, 1985, in Milwaukee. Melvin proudly served his county in the U.S. Army.
Melvin worked diligently for many years at Vanier Graphics Corporation in Brookfield, WI as a production manager. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards. Melvin was an avid reader and loved to travel and experience and learn new things along the way. He deeply loved and treasured his family and is greatly missed by them.
Melvin is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; his children: David (Delores) Wright, Pamela (Stephen) Hoffman, Daniel Wright, Kenneth (Debbie) Wright, Margaret (Richard) Haga, and David Jovan. He is furthered survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lillian and his sister, Doris.
