Mons P. Bergeson Jr.

Mons P. Bergeson Jr., 73, of Beaver Dam passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau. Mons was born the son of Mons P. and Lorena (Ruenger) Bergeson Sr. on May 23, 1943. He was a graduate of Fox Lake High School. Mons served his country in the U.S. Navy for two terms. He retired as a fork lift driver in manufacturing. Mons was an avid sports fan especially following state of Wisconsin and area sports teams. Mons is survived by his daughters: Echo (Onnie) Gregory of Beaver Dam and Noel (Eric) Jacobson of Horicon; his grandson, Onnie Gregory Jr. of Beaver Dam; great-granddaughter, Morgan Copeland; his brother, Andrew (Geri) Bergeson of Hubertus, WI; his sister, Mary Perkins of Fox Lake; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his ex-wife, Judith Bergeson. A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park in Fox Lake with military honors to be conducted.
