Myrna L. Erdmann, age 86, of Beaver Dam, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, with family by her side.
The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Myrna Louise was born on May 29, 1939, to Lloyd and Susanna (Kratochwill) Hardy. She married Jerry Erdmann in 1957, and together they built a life centered around family, love, and hard work in the Town of Oak Grove. They met at a dance and kept on dancing throughout their years together. We all loved to watch them dance together. Myrna had a special way of making everyone feel cared for. She was a constant source of love and support and someone her family could always count on. She stood beside Jerry through every business adventure, especially enjoying the years at Charlie’s in Watertown, where many young people found friendship, fun, and lasting memories. In her later years, Myrna found joy in life’s simple pleasures — playing games and doing word searches on her iPad, watching game shows, bingo, taking daily walks, and going on rides with her daughter. She loved a good adventure like visiting the aquarium in Chicago, touring the China Lights exhibition in Milwaukee, going to a live Broadway show of The Lion King, and showed those around her the importance of appreciating every moment. Myrna’s life was a beautiful example of kindness, devotion, and finding joy in everyday life.
Myrna is survived by her children, Deborah Buske, Brian (Kathy) Erdmann, Eric Erdmann and Cheryl (James) Tisdale; grandchildren, Shane (Angeleen) Buske, Richard Erdmann, Annabelle Luedtke, Ashley (Nick) Wilson, George Metros (Chelsea Brassfield), Christina Metros, Brooke Fellner, Alexander Erdmann, Kyle Erdmann, Natalie (Cory) Destree and Leah (Bradley) Wiegand; many great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Hardy and Mark (Cathy) Hardy; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Dave Hardy, and sister-in-law, Jan Hardy.

She always had a smile and friendly word for everyone to bring cheer to our days. And the puppies at Keystone were overjoyed to see her in the hallways knowing she always had a treat for them :-) Likewise, Myrna had a special bond with each of them!

My Condolences to the family and friends. Myrna was joy to be around. I remember when I first met Myrna, I'd see her in passing outside while she walked. We both stopped for a moment and just have a quick chat. Occasionally we'd sit together in the Community Room here where we lived and just enjoy a good cup of coffee and chat... Myrna was always sharing her smile and would often go and visit with other people here...

Being the brother 12 years younger than Myrna, I sometimes got to tag along on her dates. I'm not sure if this was Myrna's idea, or if Mom and Dad considered it a prudent method of chaperoning. Nonetheless, I remember many good times on her dates and, later, her extraordinary example of parenting children.
