Norman A. Kuen, 92, of Mayville passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy, Wisconsin. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Father Tom Biersack presiding. Inurnment will follow at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in LeRoy, Wisconsin. In honor of Norman’s love of Wisconsin sports please wear Packer, Brewer or Badger apparel to his service.Norman was born on September 1, 1929 the son of Arthur and Edna (Franke) Kuen in Brownsville, Wisconsin. On September 3, 1955, he was united in marriage with Eunice R. Neumeyer at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy.Norman served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Knowles Produce. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. Norman enjoyed playing baseball for LeRoy and Brownsville, as well as, horseshoes, golf, cribbage, corn hole (bags) gardening, going to the casinos and making maple syrup. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and enjoyed the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. Norman is survived by his wife of 67 years, Eunice; his children: Jean (Mark) Rohloff of Mayville, Daniel Kuen of LeRoy and Donna (Peter Bonack) Kuen of Mayville; his grandchildren: Melissa (Dan) Guenterberg, Kevin (Kim) Rohloff and Ashley (Andy) Vande Zande; seven great grandchildren: Mason, Landon, Abbie, Brynn, Caitlin, Alexa and Axel.He was preceded in death by his parents, step mother Verna, brothers: Milton, Hilbert, Roger, Sylvester, Merlin; his sister Elvira Peters and daughter-in-law Krisetta.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to SSM Hospice in Madison and to St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy.The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to St. Mary’s Hospital and Hospice staff and to the Koepsell Funeral Home for their help.
