Patricia Ann Moldenhauer, age 83, of Iron Ridge, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Pat was born on August 21, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Rudy and Lorraine (Huseby) Fischer. On June 20, 1965, she was united in marriage with Glenn G. Moldenhauer at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge. Together, they operated a dairy farm and raised their children in the Iron Ridge community.
Pat continued her education at Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, where she received her teaching certificate. She dedicated much of her life to education, teaching grade school at St. Matthews Lutheran School in Iron Ridge. Later, the couple moved to Shawano, an area they deeply loved, where Pat continued her teaching career at St. Mark’s Lutheran School in Green Bay.
She found great joy in the outdoors, especially bird watching from the deck and boat and taking in the peaceful serenity of nature. Fishing was one of her favorite pastimes, along with trips to the casinos. Pat lived a quiet, simple life, but was known for her spunk, warmth, and gentle spirit. She cherished every moment that she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her faith, her students, and the simple pleasures that brought her happiness.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Bryon) Nehls, Barbara Moldenhauer and Debbie Moldenhauer; grandchildren, Lucas (Stephanie), Carissa (Jacob) and Hannah (Josh), Sarah (Frankie) and Samuel, Jayden, Rainge and Parker (Ally); great grandchildren, Matteo, Marcelo, Maleo and Melaine, Weston, Mason and Liliana, and Mecate; siblings, Robert (Judi) Fischer and Sandra Balzo; sister-in-law, Janet Moldenhauer and brother-in-law, Glen Eller; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; infant sons, Jeffrey and Daniel; brother, Kenneth Fischer; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Earl and Marcy Moldenhauer, Marvin Moldenhauer, Earl and Darlene Schellpfeffer and Karen Eller.
The family would like to thank Rev. Joel and Julie Luedke and Rev. Mark Reichert for visiting with Pat. Also, thank you to the staff at Marshfield Medical Center and Hillside Manor for their exceptional care.
In keeping with Pat’s wishes, a private funeral service will be held.
