Patricia A. Walden

Patricia A. Walden, 80, of Beaver Dam passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at UW Hospital in Madison. Patricia was born the daughter of Elmore and Mary Ann (Thompson) Hamilton on January 7, 1938 in Poynette, WI. She was a graduate of Poynette High School and practiced as an accountant for her working career. Patricia was married to Ryan Walden in September of 1991 in Prairie du Chien. Patricia was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam. She was involved with the rehabilitation of birds of prey and educating the public of them in the Portage area. Patricia was a master gardener and especially enjoyed flowers. Patricia is survived by her sons: Tony (Lisann) Haag of Sheboygan and Tim (Linda) Haag of Beaver Dam; her step-daughter, Stephanie (Tom) Pope of Maryland; her grandchildren: Mitchell, Elizabeth, Heidi, Joshua, and Mikayla; her siblings: Merwyn (Doreen) Hamilton of Lodi, George (Sue) Hamilton of Lake Mills, and Bill (Karen) Hamilton of Columbus; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ryan in 2010. A memorial gathering will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. at the church. Rev. Chris Davis will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Poynette Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam.
