Patricia A. Young

March 14, 1933 - April 22, 2018

Patricia Ann Young, age 85, of Markesan, died on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Ripon Medical Center. A private family celebration will be held at a later date. The former Patricia Ann Tischer was born on March 14, 1933 in Minocqua, Wisconsin to Floyd and Edna (Stumpf) Tischer. On August 21, 1954 she was united in marriage with Robert P. “Tuffy” Young in Green Bay. Pat was a nurse when her children were young, but mostly worked at Burnett State Bank. For over 30 years she operated Tuffy’s Hide Out in Burnett, alongside her husband. After retirement, Pat and Tuffy would enjoy their winters in Bullhead City, AZ and the rest of their time was enjoying the views and the life at Lake Puckaway, where they had a home. Survivors are her husband, Robert “Tuffy” Young of Markesan; children, Bob (Sally) Young of Arkdale, Sandy (Terry) Zuelsdorf of Burnett, and Mike (Brenda) Young of Burnett; grandchildren, Kyle (Amy) Young, Kasey (Emily) Young, Tiffani Zuelsdorf, Brittany (Mark) Ingledew, and Taylor Young; great grandchildren, Ethan, Ava, Kenzington, Kaydence, Everly, Madilyn, and Stella; two nieces, one nephew; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mark; and sister, Janet Wulk.

Tuffy, Bobbie, Mike ....My sympathies go out to you all. Your wife, (mom) was certainly part of a wonderful family. When I delivered there for Beaver Cigar and Candy many years ago you treated me like one of the family. Except for King, your Doberman Pincher who didn't like me so much. Miss seeing you guys around! Take care.

Dear Tuffy and family. Don and I are so so sorry to hear of Trish's passing. We met the both of you in Marquette some years ago at the Pub 'N Prime. Trish was such a happy person, alway telling us great stories and wonderful recipes. It was a pleasure to have known her and she will be dearly missed. I thought about the both of you and wish we could have seen each other more often. One thing that always stays with me is when you were having dinner, I would look over and see Trish at the table with her feet behind her on her toes. I used to do that all the time, and people would say how can you do that, and I found the one person who understood how to do that! May sound silly but it was dear to me.

I hope the happy memories of Trish will be a comfort to you in the years ahead.
