Paul A. Dunse, 46, of Horicon passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.

Paul was born on May 12, 1979 in Beaver Dam. He was married to Marie Ertel on August 8, 2008 in Juneau. Paul was employed as a sandblaster with Specialty Paint & Finishing in Beaver Dam since 2011. Paul was a Lego fanatic especially with Star Wars sets. He loved his pet cats and loved spending time with his family and friends. His home was always an open door.

Paul is survived by his wife Marie of Horicon; daughters: Samantha Dunse (partner Carl Siegmann) of Horicon and Kristel Hafenstein of Beaver Dam; father and mother-in-law: Mark and Donna Ertel of Mayville; sister-in-law Linda Ertel of Mayville; nieces and nephews: Kaiden Ertel and Ashton, Austin, and Lilah Raether; as well as other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.

I am very sorry for your loss Marie, its been years since Paul and i talked, seeing this just breaks my heart as well! My parents adapted Paul 1n 1990 or 91 i believe so we grew up together for a few years as brothers! We did talk a couple times over the years. But again to you and your family i am very sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers to you all!
