Ramona Klebs

January 31, 1930 - November 5, 2020

Ramona Klebs, 90, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, November 5, 2020. Ramona was born the daughter of Donavon and Eda Olina (Mahler) Nagreen on January 31, 1930 in the Town of Maine, Wisconsin. She married the love of her life Eugene Klebs on August 21, 1948. Together they lovingly raised their family of six children, Sandy (Joe) Garczynski, Beaver Dam; Gary (Mary) Klebs , Anchorage, AK; Debra (Paul) Pizzuti, Columbus, OH; Patsy (John) Hynes, Prospect, KY; Janice (Jeff) Tischler, Beaver Dam; and Craig (Jorge Pesalovo) Klebs, Miami, FL. Ramona was a kind, compassionate, and loving person. Everyone who knew Ramona, was blessed by her pure sweetness and gentle spirit. Ramona loved to cook, bake, and love on her children and grandchildren. Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” Ramona was a member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Ramona is survived by and will be deeply missed her children, as well as her grandchildren Joe, Julie, Mike, Matt, Amy, Stephanie, Jason, Lindsay, Megan, Josh, Nate, Andrew, and Natalie; great-grandchildren Hannah, Allyson, Eric, Allison, Alexa, Connor, Caroline, Colton, Lilly, Carter, Aaron, Avery, Sebastian, Benjamin, Jackson, Melody, Brienna, Aaron, and Nathan; and great—greatgrandchildren, Kayden and Ezra. Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Klebs, in 2014 and her great-grandson Gavin Klebs in 2017. A private funeral service will be held at St. Stephen’s in Beaver Dam. Rev. Philip Heyer will officiate. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Memorials may be directed to Ramona’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of your mother a couple of weeks ago. I could not figure out to send you a message at that time.

I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers were with you then and now. I still remember playing with you when we lived next door on West Maple Street.

You may or may not know that another West Maple & LaCrosse Streets mother died last year; June Billman, mother of Tom, Mark, and Peggy .

As for the Evans' our mother died in 2006. Our father and sister, Elaine, passed on in 2016 about 8 months apart.
