Randall P. Heintz, 65 years old, of Mayville passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, WI.A funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 9th at 5:00 p.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville, with Rev. Sean Willman officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 9th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at church. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery in Mayville. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Mayville American Legion Post #69.Randy was born on October 25, 1949 to Raymond and Gladys (Franke) Heintz in Beaver Dam, WI. He was a 1968 graduate of Horicon High School. Randy was united in marriage to Marlene Starr on October 31, 1970 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. He was employed at Mayville Metal Products, and retired from Gleason Reel in 2013. Randy was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville, where he served as an usher, an elder, and as the chairman of the school board. He was a member of the Mayville American Legion #69 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Randy coached Mayville Babe Ruth and Little League baseball teams. He loved fishing, playing cards, bowling and most of all his family & friends.Randy is survived by: his wife Marlene of Mayville; his children- Aimee (Rob) Fortner of Kansasville, WI, Jennifer Heintz of Jefferson City, MO, and Joel Heintz of De Pere, WI; 2 grandchildren- Heather & Justin; sisters & brothers- Leonard (Robin) Heintz of Mayville, Steve Heintz of Beaver Dam, Judith Rose of Fond du Lac, Jeffery (Marita) Heintz of Lomira, Laurie (Larry) Mylrea of Fox Lake, Lee (special friend Patrice Hartl) Heintz of Beaver Dam, Sara Schultz of Fond du Lac, Brian (Stacey) Heintz of Burnett, Gregory (special friend Mickie Johnson) Heintz of Beaver Dam, Bradley (Jennifer) Heintz of Valparaiso, IN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Randy is preceded in death by: his parents and his sister Marci Carlton.
