Randall S. Zimmer, age 51, of Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at his home.
The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The memorial service will follow on Friday at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Eric Taylor officiating. There will be a potluck after the service at Angel’s Bar in Beaver Dam.
Randall Scott was born on January 24, 1971 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Michael and Carol (Hron) Zimmer. He lived in Beaver Dam all his life and was a 1989 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. Randy loved hockey and played throughout high school. He worked in construction for many years, mainly with Rennhack Construction of Reeseville. He was currently working at Whiskers in Juneau and part-time with the maintenance department at the YMCA. Randy loved animals and was fond of dogs, especial Brutus, Riley and Sandy. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting when he could, and hanging out with his racing family.
Randy is survived by his sister, Traci Zimmer of Beaver Dam; nephew, Zakk Benter of Beaver Dam; aunts and uncles; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his dog, Bandit.

Randy and I are cousins. While I didn't know him well, I know he loved the outdoors, and that he would help anyone he could. He truly was one of the good guys, and he will be missed.

I was sad to hear of his passing. I always liked him very much. Playing together as kids and even in the duffer league for a year. He was a fiery guy with lots of passion.
