I spoke with Ray frequently over the past years while walking my dogs and Ray walking Chinook. One of my dogs, Spencer, in his later years insisted on visiting whenever, which was frequently, we passed Ray''s house on Point Road. He was always ready with a greeting and kind words, a head rub and often a treat. I''ll miss his good natured friendliness. My sincere condolences to the family on the loss of, in the best sense of the phrase, "a real character".
