Rhonda L. Gibson, age 41, of Reeseville, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek. Visitation for Rhonda will be at the Reeseville Community Center, 406 North Main Street in Reeseville, on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 pm with Carrie Schuett officiating. Rhonda Lynn was born on September 6, 1973 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to Gerald and Joyce Byers. She graduated from Whitewater High School in 1991 and was united in marriage with Dennis Gibson in Reeseville on December 29, 1991. She spent every day at their business, D&R Auto Repair in Reeseville, where, as Dennis says, “She was the tippity-top dog”. Rhonda was active in the Reeseville community; she was a member of the Reeseville Chamber of Commerce, the Reeseville Fire Department Auxiliary, she was a First Responder for 13 years and was co-coordinator for the past several years. Rhonda was always happy and had a smile on her face. When she got involved with something, she gave it her all. She was always there to help others; when someone was in need, Rhonda was the person who would coordinate a benefit for them. In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, and caring for stray animals. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Gibson of Reeseville; her son, Kenneth Gibson of Madison; her parents, Jerry and Joyce Byers of Whitewater; her brother and sisters, Bob Byers of Waupun, Vicki Byers of Whitewater, Debbie Byers of Madison, and Sharon (Gary) Stimmell of Missouri; her father-in-law, Ralph “Hoot” Gibson of Reeseville; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends, and many pets. Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Patricia Gibson. If desired, memorials may be made in Rhonda Gibson’s name to the Dodge County Humane Society.
