Dear Barb and family…so sorry to hear about Dick’s passing. He was a special fun loving guy and will be missed by many!!
Todd, Lisa, Barb, Lynne and Families -
I was so sad to see Dick’s obituary tonight. I know there really are no words to help ease the pain of losing him. I hope sharing one of my fondest memories will make you smile.
Dick gave me my first “real” job opportunity in Beaver Dam. I have a lot of great memories working with him and the Heritage crew. The employee Holiday weekend parties Dick hosted for us to enjoy in St Louis and Minocqua were one of a kind. So much fun! Dick was a very generous and kind man.
I’ll never forget the surprise of his rendition of a “”wedding ceremony” he came up with at the beginning of our St Louis holiday party for me and my soon to be husband. “Pastor Dick Hedberg” announced that he could not allow us to live “in sin” that weekend so insisted he wed us. He performed the “ceremony” complete with his script, vows, flowers etc. Such a fun weekend for us all. He made sure of that.
I pray you each find peace and comfort in all of the wonderful memories you have of him. Hold those memories close. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Nancy
Dick will be missed. At our Tuesday and Thursday coffee group, he always contributed to our Education. We are better people for having Dick as a friend. So sorry for your loss and ours. Rollie Moll
I have so many memories of Dick through business, fun and personal connections. As I get older, I am losing so many friends; however, this lose is tough to handle. God Bless Dick, Todd and Barbara. I am trying to figure out how to make the memorial service. I loved this guy and I love how he loved his family. I am blessed to have known Dick and will always hold memories close to my heart.
Thank you for being one of our first friends at the dog park, you will be truly missed!
I know Dick from the dog park on Marco Island. He was a great story teller, listener and jokester. But, most of all, he was a great friend to all of us. His presence at the dog park will be missed more than words can say. We love you Dick!
Dick leaves such a beautiful and important legacy to his family, friends, and community and will be deeply missed. I hold dear memories of our personal and business relationship in the past. Prayers for healing hearts for The Hedberg Family.
Dick was my cousin and have memories when he visited family in Worcester, MA. My Dad and Dick's Mom were brother and sister and I was close to his Mom and Dad and brother Paul. My prayers to son Todd and wife Barbara.
Todd & Lisa you and your family have our sympathy .
