Richard G. Wild

Richard G. Wild, age 76, of Horicon passed away on April 14, 2021 at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Juneau.Richard was born the son of Gilbert and Marie (Noll) Wild on July 8, 1944. He was a 1962 of Mayville High School. Richard was a skilled carpenter and worked at Purity Cheese and also Town and Country Construction in Mayville. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed playing guitar. He loved the outdoors and liked to fish, collect rocks, and gardening. He loved the time spent with his family and his special friend Lisa Landrath and enjoyed telling stories of when he grew up. Richard is survived by his children- Rick (Sue) Wild of Horicon and Rhonda Wild of Horicon. His brother Ronald Wild of Kekoskee. His grandchild- Chase Restter Wild. Further survived by other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings- Jerry, Francis (Leonore), Mary Hoffman, Delores Barker, Arlene Griep, and sister in law Kathy Wild.A celebration of life will take place on July 31st from 1-4 p.m. at the Horicon American Legion in Horicon.
