Richard Lynn Wiese, 59, of Theresa, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 23rd, 2025, in the comfort of his home.
Richard was born on April 29th, 1965, to Eugene and Mary Wiese in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He attended Lomira High school where he met Brenda Wiese, the mother of his four children. He went on to work at Wiese Auto, Kondex, and lastly, Tecre where he was a dedicated employee for the last 30 years. At Tecre he was an assembly team leader. He was respected, loved, and even feared sometimes in his position.
In his free time he enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, working in his garage, gambling, cleaning his car and going to car shows, watching the Packers, and most of all spending time with his family, his greatest joy in life.
Richard was truly a genuine, humble, and loving man to many and will be greatly missed. As we struggle with the loss of his physical presence in our lives may we all find comfort in knowing his legacy will live on through all of those who were privileged enough to have known him.
He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Mary Wiese; his siblings, Debra (Bruce) Weyer, Jeffery Wiese, Steven Wiese, and Craig Wiese; his children, Tasha Wiese, Jennifer Wiese, Rachel (Brian) Ade, Richard Jr. (Holly) Wiese; his grandchildren, Mia, Camron, Ariana, Carter, Hailey, Lilian, Wyatt, Brayden, Kinslee, Kylee, and Grayson; his nieces and nephews, Jeremiah, Amy, Amanda, Emily, Alan, and Jacquelin; and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in joining the Lord by his grandparents: Alvin and Alma Wiese and William and Laura Winter.
A Memorial Service for Richard will take place on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville with Rev. Dr. Mark G. Cutler officiating. A memorial gathering will be held at church on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. A luncheon to celebrate Richard’s life will follow at the Feedmill Bar and Grill in Knowles.
For all of those who knew Richard you knew how much he loved the green and gold. Please feel free to wear Packer apparel in honor of him if you would like.
