I was very sad to hear of the passing of Rick !. I was older, but had attended University of Wisconsin=Whitewater and was a music major there. I enjoyed playing with Rick in the trumpet section in the jazz band, and also the Warhawk Show Band. I left college suddenly and went on the road with The Russ Morgan Orchestra. so was out of touch with most of my friends at UWW. My prayers and thoughts go out to Rick and his family. God Bless. "As an old high school buddy of Rick's, I found out almost by accident that he had passed away. A friend of mine had "Liked" a photo of a team that had been working on an energy savings project for the Art Institute of Chicago and Rick was identified in the photo noting that he had recently passed away and been an important contributor to energy cost savings projects throughout his career. He was a great fun-loving, friend, very talented musician, and I would imagine a great loving husband, Father, and Grandfather. Our thoughts and prayers are with you through all of this. I am saddened to hear of Rick's passing. He was an amazing man who lived life to its fullest. I will remember Rick for his zest for life, smile, and kindness. I admired his knowledge on any topic especially cars and tractors. He was not only the kind of man people wanted to be, he was the kind of man people would be proud to be. I am proud to have known Rick as both a co-worker and friend. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. My sincere deep condolences to Rick's family.
Rick was a man who made an everlasting impression on everyone he touched. He was always there to listen and provide guidance as needed. I was so lucky to have gotten to know him. He will be forever missed....
Lynell and family, I am so deeply sorry to learn the news of Rick's passing. Although many years since I have seen him, it is hard to think of him and not smile. He was always full of fun and life. I can only imagine how you will all miss him. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.

There will never be another like Rick. He was a good man. His memory will always remain.
Farewell Rick. It was great working with you, first as a professional and later as a friend. Really enjoyed our discussions about cars, tractors, boats and all the good stuff. And what a sense of humor!
I am so sorry for your loss. Rick was a wonderful colleague, and I will miss his energy insights and love for life.
