Ricky Hurth

Ricky Lee Hurth, age 70, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away early Sunday morning, November 6, 2022.

Ricky was born March 26, 1952 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hartford, Wisconsin to Gordon and Beverly (Sherman) Hurth. He graduated from Hartford Union High School, class of 1970. He worked in sales/marketing for many years, until his retirement. Ricky enjoyed church on Sundays followed by the Sunday brunch buffet. Ricky lived a simple life; just a man and his dogs, always putting family as his top priority even if it was over his own needs. In addition to time spent with family and friends, Ricky also loved anything Wisconsin sports; Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, but his favorite was the Green Bay Packers as he was a shareholder. He was always ready for the next NASCAR race and going to see car races in person whether it was drag racing, or stock cars, and he has even been to the Indy 500. Ricky loved to play softball, play pool and go bowling.

He is survived by his loving sons, Mitchell and Tyler Hurth; cherished grandchildren, Lacey, Kylie and Jaxon Hurth; and dear brothers, Randy (Eva) and Ron (Barb) Hurth. Ricky is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and other wonderful relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by this parents, Gordon and Beverly Hurth.

The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. The memorial service will follow at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Private inurnment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam at a later date.
