Rita A. Sack

Rita A. Sack, age 87, of Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Hillside Manor. The visitation will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. John R. Leiting with be the celebrant. Cremation will follow. Rita A. Thomas was born on January 2, 1934 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Jack and Isabelle (Polzin) Thomas. She was a 1952 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. On July 12, 1952 Rita was united in marriage with Eugene Sack in Beaver Dam. Rita worked at The Daily Citizen for a number of years where she held various positions. She later went to work at Schumann Printers before she started her own daycare service out of her home. Rita cared for numerous children at “Granny’s Daycare” until her retirement in 2008. She enjoyed watching game shows as well as sprint car racing. Rita also liked to cheer on the Packers and Badgers. She loved her kids and grandchildren and was proud of everything they did. Her home was surrounded by many photos of her family, preserving all of her happy memories. Rita is survived by her children, Michelle (Robert) Corey and Heidi (William) Warren of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Robin (Christopher) McCord, Andrew Corey, Cody (Christine) Tresselt-Warren, and Samuel Warren (Brittney Bell); great grandchildren, Noah and Maya Tresselt-Warren and Alexis Warren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, Eugene.
