Robert E. Laper

Robert E. Laper, 80, of Waupun passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. Robert was born the son of Herman and Emma (Dreske) Laper on May 24, 1937 in Ripon. He was married to Karen P. Bobholz on October 20, 2005 in Waupun. He was employed with Slinger Manufacturing. Robert enjoyed watching NASCAR and golf. Robert is survived by his wife, Karen of Waupun; his siblings: Herbert (Delores) Laper of Markesan, Avis (Vernon) Cornwell of Markesan, and June Zuelke of Markesan; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Erwin. A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1p.m. the time of the funeral service at the funeral home. Rev. Randy Carey will officiate. Interment will take place at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
