Robert S. Weiss, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2024 surrounded in spirit by his wife and other family members in his room at the Crossroads of Mayville Nursing Home in Mayville, Wisconsin.
Robert Stephen was born on April 19, 1949 in New York to Harry and Amalia Weiss. He was one of two children born in the Weiss family. Robert attended an all-boys school in New York and later graduated from Syracuse University, Rockhurst University, and University of Missouri (Kanas City).
He was united in marriage with Tyral Henningsen in the 1970’s, divorced in the 1980’s, and then Robert was married to Alice Weiss, an opera singer in the United States and Europe.
Robert had several jobs during his lifetime. He was best known for being a Spanish teacher, classical guitar instructor and musician. He proudly took lessons from a student of Andres` Segovia. He also spent many years working in Sales.
He was raised a Reformed Jew in New York however, later he became a member of the Christian Science Church in the 1970’s. He loved to sing in his church and many area churches.
Robert will be deeply missed and leaves behind his former wife Tyral Spence; his daughters: Dawn Weiss Craig and Felicia Joy Tahirou; his granddaughter: Naomi Tahirou and his grandsons: Joshuah Mason and Ibrahim Tahirou.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Amalia Weiss and his sister Judy Weiss.
