Deacon Bob Schienebeck left a message on June 13, 2019:

When I think of Rodger I think of Music and Basketball. I was a couple of years behind Rodger in school, but I know if they had the 3-point shot back then Rodger and Wayne would have easily scored 40 points a game.
Rodger most likely was born with an accordion in his hands, but it was what was in his heart that made him who he was. His very presence with that heartfelt smile made people feel comfortable and enjoyed being in his company. He was blessed by God with his wife a Jean and his children, and all the friends along the way.
We are to live as we sing, Rodger certainly made many people sing. His memories must live on and be shared.
May God's blessing be upon him and his family.
Deacon Bob Schienebeck

Aunt Jeannie, Michael, Steve & families,
I am so sorry for your loss. We have so many good memories of Uncle Rog playing his accordion with a big smile on his face. He is the reason we all know how to polka & have a love for music!
