Roger C. Miller, age 74, died suddenly on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam. The visitation will be at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. The funeral service will follow at the church on Friday at 12:00 noon with Rev. Mark Reichert officiating. Burial will be at Reeseville Cemetery. Roger Carl Miller was born on December 18, 1968 to Howard and Anita (Lau) Miller. He served in the United States Military during Vietnam War. On October 18, 1968 he was united in marriage with Sally L. Lanzendorf at First Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Roger worked as a Fork lift Operator at Smart Parts for many years until his retirement. Roger was a Mr. Fix-it and was great at working with his hands. He could fix, create or manipulated anything made of wood or metal. He was meticulous about his work and the space that he worked in. Roger loved sports and watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. His greatest love was his family; his grandchildren were his world and he was so proud of them. Roger is survived by his children, Dana Miller (Jen Krogh) of Beaver Dam and Tricia Bauernfeind of Juneau; grandchildren, Nathan (Phylicia) Coda, Haley Miller (Mitch Hansen), and Aron Miller, Samantha Griffin (Marcus Cannon), Alison (Justus) Wolf, Dana Bauernfeind (Ben Harmon), Nicholas Bauernfeind, and Lily Bauernfeind; great grandchildren, Mila, Levi, Dominic, Scarlette, Oliver and Chloe; sister, Janice Boettcher; brother, Brian (Vicki) Miller; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death his parents; his wife in 2009; a son-in-law, John Bauernfeind; and a brother-in-law, Ken Boettcher. Memorials may be made in Roger C. Miller’s name to Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church.
