I work for Kwik Trip, across the road from the mobile home park Roger lived in. My deepest sympathies for the loss of Roger!! I loved seeing him walk in the door. When he would see me he would say "hi ya sweets". I will miss seeing his smiling face and will miss his stories!!! My condolences to the whole family!!

I'm so sorry that I couldn't make it to the funeral but, I had a Dr. appointment that I couldn't miss. He'll be missed at the knaus reunions. I'm glad that I had the opportunity as an adult to get to know Roger. Loved his stories, suggestions, advice and most of all his smile. RIP cousin, See you in the next world, don't be late! ♥ Diane Smallwood (Bun & Lila's 2nd daughter)
You are all in our thoughts and prayers!!! I know he's busy catching up - up there and I know he's in a good place but I will sure miss the visits/calls so much!!! My Dad always said "Roger would not only give you the shirt off his back but he'd give you his last dollar too!!!" His heart was made of gold!! xxxooo
RIP, Rodger.
God bless your father for now he is at peace! Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family Margie, Scott, Nathan and all your brothers and sisters. Margie's eyes always lit up when her Dad was in town and stopped in to visit her at the pharmacy! He was a kind and giving man and we are all blessed to have known him. He raised a wonderful family.
Wish you guys the best through this time. I always enjoyed Rogers stories and listening to him and was glad to see him last summer for Joshua's graduation.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Dad, I can't seem to rest tonight, just hoping your finally at peace and where you belong with Mom and all the other loved ones that went before you. I miss you so much already it breaks my heart, that you are no longer here. I loved your roller coaster stories the most always taking me on a journey (anyone who knows you dad and how you could talk knows what I mean) and how you could remember so much from so long ago! I will always cherish every moment good and bad as we all learned from it and your gorgeous blue eyes, which Lilly seems to have carried those on and I'm sad you will not be here to watch her grow into the beautiful great grand daughter you said she would be, nor will you be here to see what more Sadie can accomplish thru her photography you always enjoyed, nor Brads next journey in life as he may get accepted into the challenge academy to pursue a carrier in the military and how proud you have seen him change. I hope now, you and mom can look down on us from time to time, as I know your gonna be busy where you are catching up on old times and welcoming all that will follow after you. Thanks for bringing me into this world, I didn't mean to be a handful Know that I did and will do, all right for the rest of my days on this earth and I'm ok with that. You were my First Love and Always will be. Give Mom a hug and kiss from me, Love you both to the moon and beyond!!! Tell Mom I'm still picking up pennies and smile when I see them! One of your many Babies, Your Beloved Daughter, Tina
