Ronald K. “Homer” Gallenbeck, age 54, of Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Heart Hospital in Milwaukee.
Visitation for Ronald will be held at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, May 26, 2006 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Murray Funeral Home following the visitation on Friday at 5:00 PM. John R. Leiting will be the celebrant. Cremation will follow.
Ronald Kenneth Gallenbeck was born on March 20, 1952 in Beaver Dam, the son of Arnold and Winette (Alderden) Gallenbeck. Ronald attended Beaver Dam High School, and was a past member of the Beaver Dam Police Auxiliary. He worked at various places in the Beaver Dam area and most recently at I.O.D Feed and Supply in Fall River. Ronald loved to travel and especially by train. Ron had a special love for polka music and WTKM radio in Hartford.
Survivors include his son, Chris Gallenbeck of Beaver Dam, a daughter, Jennifer (Fiance Joshua Ade) Gallenbeck of Virginia Beach, VA, his parents, Arnold & Winette Gallenbeck of Beaver Dam, former wife, Kathy Gallenbeck of Beaver Dam, sisters, Virginia (Terry) McKone of Hartford and Diane Carr of Beaver Dam, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ronald is preceded in death by his two brothers, Dennis in 1973 and Arnold Jr., in 2004.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are suggested.
The Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family.
