Ronald F. Keller

Ronald Keller, 85, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, at home in Neda, WI.

Ron was born on May 8, 1941, in Iron Ridge to Bill and Mildred (Niemeyer) Keller. He grew up a farm boy with 14 brothers and sisters who he loved dearly and laughed with his whole life.

When he was 18, he proudly served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany from 1959 to 1963. There he met and married the love of his life. Ursula (Forster) and Ron had three children and were married 63 years.

Ron found his career passion in truck driving and owned Keller Trucking Company for over 45 years. Throughout his life he also loved gardening, hunting, fishing and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

He spent over 30 years making memories turkey hunting in Richland Center with his sons and grandsons and found his happy place fishing for bluegill on the Chippewa Flowage.

Ron was an explorer at heart, always creating and building things from meat smokers to fishing lures to salsa and maple syrup.

He was a great storyteller and loved making friends wherever he went. He will be dearly missed by his family for his big laugh and generous heart & spirit.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Ursula; his three children, Steve (Linda) Keller, Scott (Nancy) Keller, and Annmarie (Louis) Molina; his four grandchildren, Austin (Taylor), Brett, Noah (Courtney) and Naomi; his sisters and brothers, Betty McVicker, Janet (Ron) Wendling, Charlie (Joann) Keller, Bill Keller, Mickey Kliefoth, Mariann (Rudy) Mohr, Verna Scola, Glady (Bob) Lange, Ike (Sue) Keller, Shirley (Loren) Giese, Bob (Barb) Keller and Sharon (Dave) Schaller; and his in-laws, Barb Keller, Lydia Forster and Herman Forster.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers; Boone Keller and David Keller; his brothers in-law, Jerry Kliefoth and Larry Scola; and sister-in-law, Sue Keller.

A funeral service for Ron will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge with Rev. Nathan Schulte officiating. A visitation for Ron will be held at church on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Following the service, military honors will be conducted by the Horicon American Legion Post # 157.
