Ronald J. Hermann, 71, of Waupun passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Ronald was born the son of Laurence and Ruth (Lange) Hermann on October 9, 1948 in Beaver Dam. He was a 1966 graduate of Waupun High School. Ron was employed with Silgan Containers in Waupun until his retirement. He was married to Bonnie Krause on August 2, 1986 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun. Ron enjoyed woodworking, making many items for his family and friends. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed camping with his grandchildren at Devil’s Lake. Ron will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. Ron is survived by his wife Bonnie of Waupun; his children: Bobbie Jo (Scott) Mleziva of Mequon, Craig (Wendy) Krause of Pardeeville, and Scott (Cheyenne) Krause of Columbia, SC; seven grandchildren: Laci, Katelyn, Riley, Coco, Brayden, Cohen, and Caleb; four great grandchildren: Parker, Chase, Lucas, and J.J.; his brother Gerald (Peggy) Hermann of Waupun; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Victoria Lundy; grandson Cody Laughran, and a sister in infancy. A private family memorial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, township of Trenton. Ron’s family would like to thank Bonnie’s sister Kim Sinclair and her family for their wonderful care and support, and also Generations Hospice for their amazing care.
