Rosalie 'Rose' Gramlow Farvour

Rosalie A. Gramlow Farvour, age 79, of Waupun, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Waupun Christian Home.A funeral service for Rose will take place on Wednesday, September 12 at 2 p.m. at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun with the Rev. David F. Knuth officiating. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 12 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville and again on Wednesday, September 12 from 1 until 2 p.m. at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun. Private family burial will take place at St. John Cemetery in Mayville.Rose was born the daughter of Paul E. and Kathryn M. (Longseth) Arneson on May 9, 1939 in Beaver Dam. She was united in marriage to Herbert F. Gramlow on January 28, 1956 at St. John’s Lutheran Church (Browns Corners). She later married Vernon Farvour on June 21, 1999 in Juneau. She spent her life taking care of others as a caregiver and owner of Rivercrest Manor in Mayville. In her spare time, Rose enjoyed gaming trips and visiting the Amish communities. Family was most important to Rose and she cherished the time spent with them.She is survived by her children- Allen (special friend Della) Gramlow of Republic, MI., Diane (Steven) Fischer of Waupun, Dale (fiance’ Jackie) Gramlow of Plymouth, and Patricia (Kevin) Kuyper of Kekoskee. Her step children- Larry (Cindy) Farvour of Fond du Lac, Kathy (Ronald) Abitz of Waupun and Ted Farvour of Fond du Lac. Her 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, also step grand and step great grandchildren. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.Rose was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Kathryn, her step father Herman Gleisner, her first husband Herbert in 1994, second husband Vernon in 2003, and 2 sisters Joyce Nelson and Madelene Gentz.
