Rosemarie A. Fehling

January 6, 1923 - April 15, 2007

Rosemarie C. Fehling, age 84, of Grand Marsh and formerly of the Beaver Dam and Horicon area, died on Sunday, April 15, 2007, at Moundview Hospital in Friendship, WI.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. The funeral service will follow the visitation on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dennis Schueler officiating. Burial will be in the Lowell Cemetery.

The former Rosemarie Cecilia Frisch was born on January 6, 1923, to the late Frank and Cecilia (Abraham) Frisch. On September 7, 1944, she was united in marriage to Oscar “Bob” Fehling in Dubuque, Iowa. Rosemarie was a graduate of the Beaver Dam High School and worked at the Weyenberg Shoe factory. She lived in Horicon for over 33 years and then moved to Milwaukee for 10 years. Rosemarie was now residing in Grand Marsh with her daughter. She was a former member of St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon and currently and member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Dells.

Survivors include her daughter, Helen (Lloyd) Bender of Grand Marsh; her grandson, Jeffery (Janelle) Bender of Beaver Dam; her great grandson, Evan Bender, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on October 25, 1988 and her three brothers, Arnold, Arthur and Ray Frisch.

I was saddened to hear of Margarets passing. She and my mother Alice Barnes where very good friends at the nursing home. She would always come into my mother's room after meals and sit for awhile. She even got my mom hooked o crocs. They can now visit again.
I am very sorry for your loss.

I got to know Margaret through church, and found her to be a wonderfully special lady. My husband really enjoyed singing in the choir with her. She is most definitely in a better place now, reunited with Perley. God's Peace to you.

Dear Helen and Family, I am sorry that Carolyn and I will not be able to attend Aunt Rosie''s funeral. I had intended to call her on several occasions but never got around to it. I will be in Arizona at that time attending to my mother''s affairs. She is in the last stages of Demetia. We will really miss talking to Aunt Rosie on the phone. All our love in your time of sorrow.
