A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy, WI, preceded by visitation at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow in the Parish Hall from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at St. Andrew’s Cemetery at a later date.
Rosemary was born on August 18, 1932 to Alvin “Casey” and Rose (Gindt) Kehrmeyer in LeRoy, WI. She married Francis Pabich on October 30, 1954 at St. Andrew’s Church in LeRoy, and together they raised four children starting in Horicon, later to moving to Fond du Lac and Menomonee Falls. While living in Fond du Lac, WI, Nashville, TN, Bowie, TX and Menomonee Falls, WI, Rosemary worked in Medical Records management at hospitals and health care agencies until the age of 71. She moved to Okauchee and then Oconomowoc, WI later in life.
Throughout her time on this earth, Rosemary was known for her wit, caring spirit, and spunk. She was a wonderful mother, an excellent cook, avid gardener, and travelled extensively. She created circles of friends everywhere she went and enjoyed being at the center of the party. She was at her best when surrounded by the family and friends she loved, whether at a family reunion, on vacations Up North, or adventuring in Door County. Whether playing sheepshead, attending a Green Bay Packers or Brewers game, or digging into a 2.5 pound lobster, Rosemary enjoyed life. We expect she is sharing laughs and a Brandy Old Fashioned in heaven with Francis, their son Dick, and her many dear family and friends who have also moved on.
Rosemary is survived by her children Suzanne (Dan) Kinard of Leland, NC; Daniel (Kathleen) Pabich of Hartland, WI; and Peggy (Robert ) Youngblood of Okauchee, WI; her grandchildren Cameron and Preston Kinard; Paul (Marissa), Alicia, and Jack Pabich; and Katelyn and Kyle (Brianna McReynolds) Youngblood; and Melinda (Bell) Cope; her siblings Earl (Betty) Kehrmeyer and Donald (Betsy) Kehrmeyer; her sister-in-law Catherine Kehrmeyer; many nieces and nephews who were devoted to her; dear friends Joyce, Linda, Cookie, and Ellie; and many additional relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Francis; her son Richard; her parents; her brothers Francis, Jerome, and Vernon; her sisters Adeline Lookman, Genevieve Luedtke, and Kathryn Daugherty; her brothers-in-law Carl Lookman, Merlin Luedtke, and Robert Daugherty; her sisters-in-law Patricia Kehrmeyer and Mary Kehrmeyer; and her dear friends James, Colleen and Denise Leinss.
Rosemary’s family wishes to extend special appreciation to the many caregivers who have supported her through her illnesses, particularly at Froedtert Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Towner Crest in Oconomowoc, and Congregational Home in Brookfield.
