Rosina G. Waas, 100 years old, of LeRoy, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Hope Nursing & Rehab. Center in Lomira.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 7 at 4:30pm from St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy, WI, with Rev. Father Tom Biersack presiding. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7 from 1:30 till 4:30p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy. Interment will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery in LeRoy.Rosina was born on July 4, 1914 to Henry & Nora (Oechsner) Ertl in Farmersville, WI. She was united in marriage to Armond A. Waas on June 7, 1932 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy, they were blessed with 78 years of marriage. Rosina was a lifelong member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy. Along with Armond, they farmed in the township of LeRoy. Rosina’s true passion was the love of her family.Rosina is survived by: 6 sons- Harvey Waas of LeRoy, David (Marilyn) Waas of Lomira, Stanley (Pat) Waas of Lomira, Sylvia Waas daughter-in-law of Lomira, Duane (Jane) Waas of Mayville, Gary (Christine) Waas of Mayville, and Dean (Jackie) Waas of Mayville; 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Rosina is preceded in death by her parents, husband Armond of 78 years, son Myron, daughter-in-law- Mary Jane Waas 3 sisters Lidvina Abler Bertram, Phylis Indermuehle Krueger, Maxine Schraufnagel, brother Albert Ertl.Memorials may be directed to St. Andrew’s Restoration Fund or St. Agnes Hospice program.*Special thanks to Hope Senior Living & Hope Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lomira for all their wonderful care, and also St. Agnes Hospice for their care and support.*
